Paramedics and Medical TransportEastern Health’s Paramedicine and Medical Transport (PMT) Program is responsible for providing quality service in the specialty of transport medicine.

PMT was established in April 2006 when the Department of Health and Community Services devolved the governance of the road ambulance program to the Regional Health Authorities. The PMT Program has various responsibilities both regionally and provincially, including:
